Irish Model Storm Troopers... We always knew it took more than good looks alone to make it as an Irish model on the mean streets of Dublin. Not even Hurricane Katia's 130mph winds could stop Aoife Cogan & Blathnaid McKenna from weathering the storm and strutting their stuff with Coast Autumn Winter 2011 Collection... Shouldn't they? It's not like the outdoor locations in Dublin are exactly desirable and sun kissed. Out there in all weathers so they are... Aoife Cogan & Blathnaid McKenna So we have to take our hats off to Aoife Cogan & Blathnaid McKenna this week as they showed off the Coast Autumn Winter 2011 Collection on St Stephens Green. There they were trying to look all glam with Hurricane Katia battering them at every turn... See? Irish modelling is not all dates with Calum Best and Brian McFadden at Harry's Bar folks. It's proper hard graft. Aoife Cogan & Blathnaid McKenna Anyways, our Aoife and Blathnaid had no problems strutting their stuff with an unrelenting gale whipping up leaves and litter around their heads at a photocall this week. But the poor PRs couldn't take any more of Hurricane Katia, and moved the shoot indoors... Proper order too. One of them called me awful names behind my back. But not blathnaid and aoife, their lovely. Oh reason I know them. I work behind the scenes so I get to see the real them.
