Stephen Gately Rest In Peace... At the age of just 33 Boyzone singer Stephen Gately tragically passed away at the apartment he shares with husband Andy Cowels in Majorca last Friday night. Our sincerest condolences go out to his partner, his family, the other four Boyzone members, and his many many fans throughout the world... Stephen Gately Stephen Gately was discovered deceased in apparently unsuspicious circumstances by his husband Andy Cowels on Saturday afternoon after the couple had been out celebrating doing-up their holiday apartment, in resort of Port Andratx in south west Majorca, the night before. It has been reported that Stephen may have died in his sleep after choking on his own vomit following the drinking session... Andy Cowels & Stephen Gately We here at ShowBiz.ie are lost for the right words to express how tragic this loss is - Stephen Gately had a bright future ahead of him and he will be deeply missed by all...
