Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole paid the price of visiting co-member Nadine Cole's province of Ulster last weekend when an apparently over enthused fan bit her perfect little pouty lips. Holy crap! When one of our excited tipsters got in touch very late last Thursday night and said Girls Aloud had suddenly changed their plans and were on their way to Dublin a day early, after a rather scary incident with fans in Belfast, we quickly dispatched our bloodhounds (i.e. our snappers) to the Dylan Hotel to get the first exclusive snaps.

Strangely, as Girls Aloud arrived at their city centre base their security team was unusually over-protective and agitated. They quickly ushered Nadine, Kimberly, Nicola & Sarah past our paps with jackets over their heads, completely blocking any shots, and bundled them into the hotel. Then, casual as you like, Cheryl Cole strolled off the bus merely chaperoned by one burly bouncer, and we managed to grab a few frames...

No big deal you might think? Until it emerged that only a few hours earlier wee Cheryl had been grabbed and smooched by a fanatical fan, nicking her lip with either teeth or braces, leaving her and her band members visibly shook-up and rethinking their fan proximity policy. No wonder they rerouted to Dublin... Who needs a vampire fan base anyway folks?
