US teen sister sensations Aly & AJ Michalka launched the 'Bandslam' movie with a Premiere at Dundrum Town Centre last Sunday. If, like us, you have no idea who Aly & AJ are, then you probably don't watch the Disney Channel and are above 13 years old...

Singing siblings Alyson and Amanda Michalka attended what was probably the most low-key movie Premiere of their young careers in Dublin a few days ago. Normally accustomed to hoards of screaming teens and lines of snappers back home, alas, they only had to contend with our photographer when they visited Dublin. Well, we are the entire entirety of the Irish paparazzi business, as sad as that sounds.

Cute and blonde Aly was here to promote her new movie 'Bandslam' (we have absolutely no idea what that's all about) with her lil blonde and cute sis (and of course, Best Friend Forever) AJ along for the ride...

For Aly and AJ also both parts of a band called 'Aly & AJ' (wonder how they came up with that swish moniker?), but, wait there... They've actually just changed the name to '78Violet' - apparently because 7 & 8 are their favourite numbers and, according to them, if you Google the word 'violet' it has a lot of powerful meanings, and stuff... Deep.

So there you have it folkerinos. Bandslam is in cinemas now but you'll probably never see it unless you get roped-in to taking your annoying little sister along to the Picture House. Teens eh? ShowBiz.ie is sooooo down with the kids.
