AJ Celi Launches JDIFF!! Erm, Who? Hold on to your lovely horses folks. US babe AJ Celi was actually at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival launch in Tripod last night! Can you believe it, AJ Celi, here, in person? Well, can you?? Right, before we get too excited and pee ourselves, we're off to Google to find out who the hell AJ Celi actually is... Still... AJ Celi. How redonkulous is that??? Laura Canavan, AJ Celi, Alison Canavan There were a couple of Irish publications getting all hot and bothered under the collar with the anticipation of Alison Canavan's American BFF AJ Celi arriving in Dublin this week. Yup. Peeps were actually really excira... And by: "a couple of Irish publications", we are of course referring to the Evening Herald. Nuff said? AJ Celi Low and behold, all their wettest of wet dreams came true last night as AJ Celi did in fact show up at the launch of JDIFF 2011. Yeah! Right after Tweeting: "Is it bad I have no idea what event I'm going to right now - Tag along policy - don't ask questions just get in the car." So. Obviously a big honour for A to the J. Alison Canavan Turns out our AJ Celi is a person on some vague US Reality TV show called: 'Married to Rock'. Annnnd, that was about as far as we delved into AJ's claim to fame. Bad enough we have to pretend to care about Irish and British Reality TV 'stars' - never mind American ones. Maura Tierney Apart from AJ Celi, we also had a proper US celebrity at the launch in the form of former ER actress Maura Tierney, who we hear is in Ireland for the foreseeable to walk the boards at The Gate... Still... AJ Celi! Like, AJ fricken Celi... COME ON PEOPLE!!! Such a darn long-winded name though - they should totally rename it to: The AJ Celi Film Festival... No. Really... Think of the exposure 'n' stuff.
