Rosanna's A Diva in Munich... We've always known that former Miss World Rosanna Davison was a bit of a diva, turns-out her aul fella Chris De Burgh is a bit of one too... Rosie & Christie caused quite a stir in Munich this week when the father and daughter duo rocked the red carpet at The Diva Awards... Rosanna Davison Rosanna Davison's preoccupation with loud luminous frocks on the red carpet can sometimes go oh-so-wrong, but we're delighted to see that she got the formula oh-so-right with this pink and black evening dress at The Diva Awards in Germany this week. She has finally backed away from Barbie's wardrobe. (But for how long?) Rosanna Davison In fact our Rosie stole-the-show on the carpeted walkway that lead up to the big German awards ceremony last Tuesday evening, showing off her statuesque style and dazzling good looks that won her Miss World back in 2003. You know we're rather fond of poking fun at Fraulein Davison, but even WE were proud of her Ambassadorial like presence in Germany. We've said it before, we'll say it again: Rosanna for El Presidente! Chris De Burgh, Rosanna Davison The model beauty queen was in Munich this week with her famous father Chris De Burgh who was being honoured at The Diva Awards for his lifetime contribution to world music. That's right folks; Herr De Burgh is still a very big name out there beyond these shores... Chris De Burgh If our Rosie stole the red carpet, then our Christie ran away with the award ceremony when he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, bringing the whole house to their feet. Wonder if he bashed out 'The Spanish Train' for the Germans? That song still scares the total shiiite out of us. What? It's all about God and the Devil playing cards for our very souls... We think it was a game of Snap. Chris De Burgh Well, there you have it folks. Chris De Burgh and Rosanna Davison out-there doing Ireland proud on mainland Europe. You see? It's not just Bono and Colin Farrell keeping us on the map, there is a whole other ShowBiz world beyond America and the UK. It may not be that sexy, but no less as important. Chris De Burgh, Rosanna Davison Congrats to Chris on his Lifetime Achievement Award. Much deserved. We're gonna get all nostalgic today and break-out 'The Spanish Train', 'Patricia The Stripper' and 'A Spaceman Came Travelling' and have a listen...
