Celeb-ardstown Races Baby... Okay. So we've been off the celeb trail for the last while totally enjoying the festive season. Hic. But in tradition for tradition's sake we did manage bring our cameras along to the annual St Stephens Day Leopardstown Races. Annnnd then left before Sir Bono turned up... Alison Doody Yup. We had a very welcome break from papping celebs and hawking their snaps over the Christmas period. And darn it, we're not going to get fully back-up-to-steam until next week rolls around. Well, if Rosanna Davison can have a break in sunny Mauritius then so can we. We hear Kilmuckridge is only lovely this time of year. Paul McGuinness But even in our haze of booze and stuffing we weren't completely idol folks. Hell no. We still managed to drag our hairy arses along to the Leopardstown Races on St Stephens Day (that's Boxing Day to all you Brits) to get a few pix of Bono and his clan on their annual festive outing. Paul McGuinness, Kathy Gilfinnan But with numerous hangovers ensuing and the biting cold nipping at our extremities, we kinda got bored waiting for the U2 frontman and fecked-off on our merry way before he turned-up as regular as Santa at the race day with his wife Ali (Mrs. Claus) in tow. Can you ever forgive us? Dan McGrattan, Anne Doyle Although, our Yuletide trip wasn't a complete waste of time. We bumped into Indiana Jones babe Alison Doody and U2 manager Paul McGuinness (wearing The Edge's beanie hat?) before legging it. Newscaster Anne Doyle was also about. Well, it's now New Year 2009 - here's looking forward to another twelve months of papping stars and not taking ourselves too seriously like those minor celebrities do... Have a good one ya'll.
