Model A1, I don't know quite what to make of you. Most people on here take issue with the very idea of "the Irish Model" - if you are one, you can't really talk. You seem to just be slagging off your colleagues for being (according to you) "less pretty". Am I wrong?

I am a film critic working for one of the UK's most prestigious media outlets and I simply rejected my editor's suggestion to attend the Jameson fest. Sure, I could have trotted over, had a few pints and a few laughs and returned home to a more civilized society after watching some third rate films, but I chose to boycott both the festival and Dublin for consistently hosting one of the worst film festivals in teh world. Just my opinion so don't go spilling your whiskey over anything I've said.
