Clive Owen Visits Sin City... Proper Hollywood movie star Clive Owen was knocking around Dublin last week at various Jameson Dublin International Film Festival events. The Sin City actor even got down-and-dirty rubbing shoulders with Dublin's oh-so-media-shy social set at the Jameson Film Experience event... Clive Owen, Rosanna Davison If James Bond producers hadn't opted for the Arian look and Daniel Craig, British actor Clive Owen would most likely be our current James Bond. Hell, if Mr. Craig steps aside after he completes his 007 Trilogy, Owen may yet take-up the Walther PPK pistol... Clive Owen The handsome actor was hanging out in Dublin last week at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (that wordy festival name needs trimming) and even got to hangout with Dublin's top VIPs... By “top VIPs” we are of course referring to Assets gals Rosanna Davison, Sara Kavanagh, Ruth O'Neill, Karena Graham and Nadia Forde. Ahem. Sara Kavanagh, Ruth O'Neill, Karena Graham, Nadia Forde Owen hit our Dirty Auld Town to launch the Jameson Film Experience (there certainly is a Jameson theme to this feature) at The Academy (formerly 'Spirit' to all you E heads) and have a wee on stage interview about his most excellent roles in Sin City, Croupier, Children of Men and Duplicity. Laura Whitmore Apart from the usual faces off 'the scene', Owen wasn't the only big name at the whisky themed event... MTV's uber hot blonde babe Laura Whitmore was also in attendance, adding a touch of her effortless style to the proceedings. Yup. We're big fans of our Laura's work folks... DJ Yoda There was an experimental vibe going on at the Film Experience last week inspired by the genre of graphic novels, Sin City being amongst them... DJ Yoda specially created an audio soundtrack for the evening and Laura Whitmore gave-it-loads as MC. Andrew Fowler, Tara Leniston Guests on the inaugural 'Jameson Film Experience' night included an eclectic assortment of actors, actresses, models, tv presenters, realty TV show types, and a few others who we don't know what they do but always seem to get their boat-races into photographs... You know the ones. Deirdre Morrisey Prominent peeps on the green carpet included: Clive Owen, Rosanna Davison, Laura Whitmore, Karen Koster, Dave Coffey, Deirdre Morrisey, Wesley Quirke, Izabela Chudzicka, Leigh Arnold, Katie Jane Goldin, Andrew Fowler, Tara Leniston, and Deirdre Morrisey... Katie Jane Goldin And the list went on: Sara Kavanagh, Ruth O'Neill, Karena Graham, Nadia Forde, Siobhan O'Connor, Aoife Cogan, Jenny Buckley, and many, many more... Izabela Chudzicka The 2009 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival and Jameson Film Experience are well over now but we'd like to congratulate the organisers on another great festival - we're already looking forward to next year's schedule.
