Bono's A Mascara Man...

We don't know whether Bono and his sexy boots have been dipping into his wife Ali Hewson's or comedian Russell Brand's make-up bag, but the wee Dublin lad has gone from headliner to eyeliner! We kinda like Bono's new mascara vibe people, don't you think it reeeeally brings out his eyes?

It took Bono to reach his forties before he finally realised he is a rock GOD and has full license to throw on a bit o' slap ala David Bowie back-in-the-day. We think the new heavy eyeliner look behind the wrap around shades is a massive leap-forward for his stage persona, just don't think it will go down too well in his Dublin local! Well, not unless he compliments it with some blusher & lipstick, and gets those damn nails of his done. Coordinate baby, coordinate.

Bono was spotted out on the town in London this week with his wife Ali Hewson in tow. The lovey-dovey duo were attending WarChild presents 'The Killers and Coldplay' at Shepherds Bush Empire... You know it's always handy to have your wife along incase your make-up needs touching up. Nothing worse than a runny mascara folks.

The Edge

Going for the more natural look, The Edge was also spotted at the London concert. We reckon the smoky eyes vibe might spread to the rest of U2 but most definitely stop at Larry Mullen. We just can't see our Lar fighting with the other lads for the bathroom mirror to reapply his eye shadow. He's too much of a Brylcreem boy.

At least the Boyzone and Westlife manager saw the funny side of being overshadowed by pub landlord and comedian Al Murray at the event... What would Al say about rockstars wearing girly make-up? Most probably: "Time gentlemen please."
