Our Boy Sheamus Is WWE Champ... Regular visitors to these pages will know we've been harping on about giant Irish grappler Sheamus for some years now. Well folks, our boy only went and knocked seven bells out of John Cena last night during a global pay-per-view and is now the fricken WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Excuse us as we yell: Wooooooohooooo... Sheamus With the Gaelic word for warrior "Laoch" emblazoned across the front of his short-shorts the ghostly white ginger gargantuan from Cabra turned the USA and the WWE Universe on its head last night in what has to be the biggest upset in the history of professional wrestling. The former Lillies Bordello bouncer only went and bounced pretty poster boy John Cena through a big table at the WWE TLC (Tables, Ladders & Chairs) PPV event in Texas. Yup, our Sheamo got his hands on the biggest prize in Showbusiness. Sheamus We here at ShowBiz.ie have been championing the cause of the Celtic Warrior since his early days as Irish Heavyweight Champ all the way through movie role encounters with the likes of Vinnie Jones, Joseph Fiennes, and Brian Cox. Now the big red fella is the FIRST Irish born WWE champion EVER and the first man from outside America to hold the much coveted belt in 16 years...
