Sadly our Shinners she didn't fair-out too well at the 58th Miss World event in South Africa, it was won by Russian rose Ksenia Sukhinova. Shame Sinead didn't have a famous singing father there to help sway the judges. Ahem. Ahem.

But all is not lost for the brunette beauty queen as she has the support of John Compton and his wee model agency to keep her busy now that she's back on home soil. And she also proved to be very popular with the fellas at Compton's Christmas party who were lining-up to commiserate with the stunner.

Providing a much welcomed alternative for revellers seeking a break from Lillies and Krystle, The Sycamore Club was the chosen hotspot for all of the Compton ladies to let their tresses down and pull a few Christmas crackers.

One of Ireland's top long standing models, Vivienne Connolly left her wealthy heir hubbie Mark Dunne at home to party with the other Compton girlies last Thursday night. You can slag the crapolla outta the new batch of orange hued models on the scene of late, but Vivienne has true class and a timeless beauty. Maturing like a fine wine folks.

With a breakaway from Krystle, this year's most popular model Christmas party venue, the Compton Xmas shindig was a much less formal affair than some other festive parties, with most of the catwalk queens and other invitees taking full advantage of the free bar at Sycamore.
