Just when you thought it was safe to turn back on RTE, former fashion guru Caroline 'The Brand' Morahan is back in town after a suspected extended hiatus in LA. She made her public debut at Keith Duffy's annual Raymond Weil Masquerade Ball last weekend looking like a big purple logo of loveliness dedicated to her good self. The Brand's back baby...

Only bleedin’ faaabulous TV presenter Caroline Morahan slipped off the social radar this year since losing her handy Off The Rails gig. Many of you out there, including Social & Personal magazine's 50 top party people, thought Brand Morahan had just decided to stop sharing her otherworldly majesticness with us lesser beings. Afterall, we're not worthy.

But perhaps we can shine-a-light on the whereabouts of Cari over the past few months... We've had her name dropped, by the by, from several of our sources out in Hollywood. Yup, by the by. It would seem that Miss Morahan has been hanging out in a couple of LA celeb hotspots in recent months and introducing herself to a lot of big players out there. We even had the suggestion made that she was relaunching herself as an actress... O how the plot thickens.

We haven't had these various sightings, mutterings & rumours confirmed yet - but when three completely separate Irish people in Lala Land start off a conversation with: "You never guess who's hanging out in Hollywood? Only yer wan Caroline Morahan!" Well, we kinda started to believe it... Is The Brand branching out?

The reason why Her Fabulousness was back in dreary auld Dublin last weekend was to lend-a-hand to Keith Duffy's annual Raymond Weil Masquerade Ball held in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham... We can also confirm that she's the acting hostess on Podge & Rodge next weekend.

And Caroline Morahan's Enya-like effervescence wasn't the only surprise on the night. The Boyzone boyz also put on an impromptu concert for the charity event, even turning on Keith Duffy's microphone for the first time! Crazy. We know.

Ronan Keating's better-half Yvonne has only gone and tried out another drastic image change opting to ginger-it-up. We kinda like the Jessica Rabbit look on Ro's wife, a definite improvement on the time she went brunette and started wearing brown contact lenses. That look totally weirded us out.

The Boyzoners made the night a family affair with Keith Duffy bringing along his wife Lisa, son Jordan and daughter Mia. Mikey Graham also had his wife Karen in tow. Poor Shane Lynch only had Stephen Gately to hug as his bride Sheena was back in the UK with their new baby.

The plush Royal Hospital charidee event kicked off with a drinks reception followed by a four-course meal, during which a Fiat 500 was given away... We kinda like those nifty little cars.

The Masquerade ball was in aid of Irish Autism Action and the Saplings School for Autism in Rathfarnham, charities very close to the Duffy family's heart...
