Once the poster girl of ShowBiz in Ireland, pop starlet Samantha Mumba seems to have dropped off the radar of late and left her native Dublin permanently behind for the better life in LaLa Land. This week we tracked down sexy Sam hanging out and quaffing down champers in uber posh Bel Air - a long long way away from Drumcondra we think you'll find... Samantha Mumba So we are only excira & delira to report that Irish singer and actress Samantha Mumba is alive and well, living it up with her mother Barbara and brother Omero in the US of A these days. Career wise, we've heard talk of her releasing the difficult second album follow-up to 'Gotta Tell You' in 2008, again in 2009, and now rumoured to be pushed back to 2010. Samantha Mumba, Barbara Mumba Looking fit and relaxed our Sam was spotted hanging out with her Mammy Barbara in Bel Air this week at a Julia Clancey Fall 2009 Collection fashion show. This time around, Mumba was watching the clothes on show, rather than modelling them... Samantha Mumba You know what folks? We kinda miss our Mumba here at ShowBiz.ie – in fact we're tying yellow ribbons around an old oak tree on a daily basis now in the hope that she comes home and forgives us all for our sins... Or at least poses in her bra and knickers in Dunnes.

Sure you only have to look at the inappropriate unfair abuse people get on this site irrespective of sex and skin colour. Some Irish people just cant help themselves by picking on and bullying others. I think Samantha has done amazingly well, more so far in her life than most ever will, she is a great ambassador for Ireland and appears very grounded and down to earth, so good for you Samantha!
