McBarrons: We're No McMunters... Muntergate kicked off a media storm last week when a story we did featuring the McBarron sisters here on ShowBiz.ie made national headlines with accusations of our readership bullying the three Donegal debutantes. Well folks, we caught up with Christina, Eimear and Collette McBarron at Krystle nightclub last weekend where they vehemently insisted they are NO munters... Christina McBarron, Eimear McBarron, Collette McBarron (Krystle) Amidst some witty exchanges in the comments section of a feature last week, we got introduced to the term 'munter' when one of you crazy cats out there in cyberspace suggested the lovely McBarron sisters were in fact munters. We don't know what a munter is, what a munter does, or even where a munter lives. But we're lovin' the fact that the story got picked up by the Evening Herald's Lorna Nolan and thus Muntergate was born... Christina McBarron, Eimear McBarron, Collette McBarron (Krystle) Not ones to be pushed around by you anonymous internet geeks, the McBarron sisterhood was back out in force at the weekend and downright refusing to branded as munters. Christina McBarron told our snapper at Krystle: "Tell your readers the McBarrons are no munters!" She went on to protest: "Actually, what the hell is a munter?" Kristi Kuudisiim (Krystle) Well, that's the million dollar question Christina, to which we have no answer... We don't know what a munter is, but that doesn't stop us loving the damn hell out of the slang word. ShowBiz.ie is totally down with munterdom! Last Saturday night, Krystle was hosted by faaaabulous model Kristi Kuudisiim, who has taken over the role recently. And she definitely aint no munter either folks. Ruth Henshaw, Glenda Gilson (Lillies) Across town, the model-set were letting their hair extensions down at Lillies Bordello. Apparently the occasion was Assets boss Courtney O'Hara's birthday party and all her glamorous minions joined her on a knees-up at the club... Rachel Montague (Lillies) We hear the party started off at the Sycamore club before spilling over into Lillies Bordello, where a private area was sectioned off with a red velvet rope for Dublin's photo queens and their many male suitors. Becky Sutherland, Greg Pollard (Lillies) Xpose presenter and Assets model supremo Glenda Gilson lead the way to Lillies, followed by Courtney's chums Niamh Walsh, Kerri Ingram, Anne Morgan, Marie Claire Nolan, Becky Sutherland, Ciara Simpson, Rachel Montague, Tiffany Connor Stanley, and many more...
