Hollywood starlet Mischa Barton brought her latest lover, Taylor Locke, to Dublin this week to show him around her Irish roots. On a no-frills-and-spills trip to the Capital, the handsome couple chose ferries and tour buses instead of 5 star hotels and private jets... It’s a revolution folks.

When we caught up with O.C. star Mischa Barton this week, she was standing outside The Sugar Club with a pack of Camel cigarettes and a copy of Heat Magazine in her hand... You could have easily mistaken her for any other 'Rooney' groupie waiting for a glimpse of the US band. We almost did!

Dressed-down in jeans and t-shirt chic, Mischa was patiently waiting outside the venue for her new Rooney guitarist boyfriend Taylor Locke - who was inside in the midst of a soundcheck, ahead of the band's Dublin debut...

But as soon as Taylor got the whole "testing, testing, 1, 2, 3" bit out of the way, the young couple took a tour of Dublin's Grafton Street area, stopping off for a bite in The Gotham Cafe and took a hand-in-hand stroll through St Stephen's Green... Ah young love and romance.

With no security and no entourage, the famous pair went totally unnoticed as they took-in the busy shopping area. Even with our paparazzi photographers lurking around every corner, no autograph hunters nor O.C. fans managed to spot Mischa back in the country where her mother Nuala hails from... What would Mariah Carey say?

On her trip to Ireland, Mischa waved all diva treatment and opted to share the tour bus with Taylor's bandmates instead of her usual 5 star hotel room. The couple even got the ferry to Ireland from the UK, so no 1st Class flights there either!

With Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan both claiming Irish blood, it was nice to see Mischa paying more then just lip-service to her lineage and taking time to visit her mother's native land. AND without all the usual, 'I'm a celebrity' hullabaloo... Or perhaps she was just caught-up in the whole a rock band groupie thing?
