The search for John Lennon in Dublin...

ShowBizIreland.com have been asked to help in the search for the star of a new John Lennon movie, the search has moved away from England to Dublin. After unsuccessfully locating a convincing John Lennon actor in all of England including Liverpool where Lennon was from the casting company are moving to Dublin.

Next week Carmel O'Connor, who is over the Irish casting for the movie will be in Ireland looking for a actor to play the part in the movie, 'In His Life-The John Lennon Story.'

Producers and Director have been searching all over U.K. and still have not found an actor to play John Lennon (aged between 17-23yrs.)

Next Tuesday 5th Sept. they are holding auditions between 12pm and 4pm in The Gaiety School of Acting, Meeting House Sq., (Sycamore St.) Temple Bar.

The film is being made by NBC, director: David Carson. Shooting mid Sept. to end Oct. in Liverpool.

Any young actor/musician who thinks he could be right with the aid of wigs, makeup and glasses should come along.
