Weslife Duet with Mariah Carey...

Ireland's Westlife are on their way to the island of Capri in the next few days to record a single with soul princess Mariah Carey. The duet is rumoured to be the Phil Collins track "Against All Odds".

The bands manager Louis Walsh has revealed that Mariah's manager called him early this week to confirm the duet. "It's something that she mentioned when she meet the band in America but we didn't expect it to happen quiet so quickly. They are both signed to the same label in America and she had seen the lads perform at a promotional concert last year. Mariah immediately said that she would like to record a duet single".

Once the single is recorded the lads will do a coast to coast promotional trip of the states.
