Louis illustrated to the press yesterday at Jury's Hotel just how easy it is to silence Simon Cowell - just put your hand over his gob and hey presto!

Over the past two days hundreds of hopefuls turned up to Jury's from diverse musical backgrounds - including Pop, Rock, Jazz and Classical - trying to show the world renowned judges that they have the X Factor.

True to form wannabe entertainer Brendan Kilkenny turned up with his the yellow toenails and sang How Much is That Doggy in the Window to the dismay of the judges.

Cowell told the not-funny-anymore mulleted Kilkenny he was "wasting our time" and his sideshow antics had become decidedly "boring"...

Perhaps that was the first insightful comment to ever come out of Cowell's mouth...

Sharon, Simon and Louis will be traveling around the UK and Ireland over the coming weeks so if you think you have the talent or just wannabe humiliated on national TV get queuing now!
