Roberts may find refuge in Ireland...

Rumors were circulating last night that Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts may secretly jet into Ireland to escape the world press attention she is getting after her split with her long term boyfriend Bejamin Bratt.

The actress has only spoken once publicly about split to TV guru David Letterman. The Oscar-winning actress told the American chat-show host Letterman that her four-year romance had come to a "tender-hearted" end.

She said: "I love Benjamin. He's a good man, he's a fine man. He is, to the exultation of the female population, not my man any more."

Roberts denied that he was behind the split, saying that he is 'a kind and lovely man, but not my boyfriend'. Roberts also denied that anyone else was involved. "I'm single," she insisted.

Currently set to do hundreds of interviews for her next film Roberts may flee to Ireland to escape press attention.

In 1991 the singer split with Kiefer Suderland in Dublin and has found refuge in Ireland at numerous times over the years to stay with friends in Dublin.
