Sinead Goes AWOL on TV Show...

TV3's Brendan Courtney Show was busy advertising three big names on their programme this week: actor Vinnie Jones, Big Brother's Anthony Hutton & singer Sinead O'Connor - but one of them mysteriously went AWOL...

When ShowBiz Ireland's photographers got down to the recording of The Courtney Show in Howl at the Moon this week there was a sense-of-calm as they knew they had at least 4 hours to photograph the 3 guests.

Controversial singer Sinead O'Connor was already at the prerecording with her daughter before UK guests Vinnie Jones & Anthony Hutton arrived.

But soon after the show got under way Sinead excused herself to go for a loo-break and never came back...

According to reports Brendan had arranged a Blind-date skit where the Nothing Compares To You singer would be set-up to pick a handsome hunk - it would then be revealed he was from Monkstown. Apparently joke being that Sinead had once said there were no good looking men in Monkstown!

The baffling thing about Sinead's mysterious disappearance was that there were security and photographers at all doors, so how did she escape? Probably a shimmy-down-the-drainpipe!

Luckily for Brendan former Big Brother runner-up Anna Nolan was checking out Crunch Fitness Gym in nearby Temple Bar and legged-it down at the last minute to fill in for his absconding guest...

Big Brother winner Anthony Hutton was also on the show and had a fleet of teenage girls waiting outside to get a glimpse of the handsome Geordie.

Hardman Vinnie Jones also graced Brendan's show, one brave fan presented him with an old photo of him in a dress which he reluctantly signed.
