Ever since the infamous Siapan incident Roy Keane has been a virtual stranger to these shores when it comes to social events. In fact the last time we can remember Roy out on the town was for the Christening afterparty for Brian McFadden's daughter Molly in Lillies Bordello some years ago.

And even back then he announced to the VIP crowd just before he sang a duet with Eamon Dunphy that they wouldn't normally find him in a club like Lillies as it was "full of w***ers!"

The VIP crowd agreed and merely chanted "Keanooo, Keanooo, Keanooo" even though he had just insulted everyone in the room... What a legend!

Anyway, these days Roy's a lot more relaxed and usually stays away from late night drinking sessions. Instead he prefers to use his colossal public persona for good causes - last week he attended the O2 Ability Awards in Dublin Castle with his wife Theresa.

Also at the Awards, which highlight companies that provide proper career opportunities for disabled employees, were Andrea Corr, Craig Doyle, Caroline Casey, Eddie O'Sullivan, Denis O'Brien and many more...

Irish singer Paul Brady was also out-and-about all over the place last week celebrating the launch of his new album Say What You Feel with lots of his old friends from the music industry.
