Irish Beatle has a stalker...

The Irish actor Philip McQuillian has been so convincing as the Beatles singer John Lennon that he has been haunted by a stalker. McQuillian who has been penned as a replica of John Lennon is currently staring in the TV movie In His life, The John lennon Story.

Philip was shooting scenes in Liverpool in September when he was forced to confront a stalker by telling him he was only an actor. "I said I'm not John Lennon. I'm an actor playing John Lennon."

The Irish actor was only three months ago working in a music shop and playing in a band at night.

Within days of ShowBizIreland.com launching appeal for a John Lennon actor Philip got the role and within a week was playing the role of his hero in front of the cameras.

"We have had so much fun. We can only imagine what it was like for them. I've always wondered what it would be like to be a Beatle it's just crazy. We did a gig for 100 extra's in the Cavern Club in Liverpool it was so realistic," Philip said.
