Townsend has Trapped Fame...

Irish actor Stuart Townsend is rocking Hollywood with his recent hit movie The Queen of the Damned which stars the late singer Aaliyah.

However, the Dublin based star is too in love to care about his fame and has recently admitted he is totally smitten with the actress Charlize Theron.

"Its been great and we even met each others family's long ago. Both of us spent Christmas with both our families in Mexico and it was just brilliant," Stuart admitted.

"My sister, Chloe is 14 and Charlize is like the ultimate big sister to her which is great. She's been watching her put on her make up and everything."

The couple met last year while working on the movie 24hrs which is now being released under the name Trapped.

Stuart said he did not even think about Tom Cruise's role in the first movie about the vampire Lestat who Stuart plays in the Queen of the Dammed.

"I hardly thought about Tom Cruise's performance at all. It's a different film and you have to have your own take on it. I was surprised when I got the part because I thought I'd done a really banal interview. But, the director had seen me in a film called Resurrection Man and liked it. We filmed it in Australia and it was great fun to do."
